College sucks. Officially

Not really, but it's really stressful to try and figure out my stupid schedule so I can find a job! Good heavens. And by the way, no matter how broke I get, I will never be a 4 am custodian. I just can't handle being up that early. Sure they make good money, but I'd rather live in a box.....or at home. Ugh. My dad is bent on my vacuuming other peoples floors for a living. Joyous, eh?

However, on the bright side, I'm done with school!!!! Yay! I graduate on Friday, but I took my last final today. :) I'm full of happiness and joy. And joyness. Then, I get to start working full time again at my loverly ScholarWear. It is an awesome job! I get to hang out with my fantastic boss Marcie and get paid to do it!
"Oh it's what Marcie does to me" :) :)
I'm super stoked to finally feel like I'm making real money again! And, they are taking me to Vegas AND California this year. One whole month of bliss and money and beaches and sun!!
The End.

Senior Barbeque!

So yesterday, our boys soccer team played in the State quarter finals against Cottonwood. It was one of the best games I've ever watched. We went into double over time 1-1. No one scored so we went to a shootout.....both teams scored 4 of 5....then it went to sudden death. We shot, they shot, we shot, they...MISSED!!! We went absolutely crazy! We were all crowded around the goal during the shots chanting and cheering and we rushed the field even though we weren't supposed to! I was so excited. So...that means we are going to be playing at Woods Cross in Bountiful on Tuesday! Woot Woot. Our boys soccer is amazing!
After that, we went to our Senior Barbeque, and we had a blast. My friend's parents own Wallaby's and they catered our dinner and it was absolutely fabulous!! Then we all played games and goofed off for a couple of hours. I was sitting watching some boys play ball, and it just hit me so hard that we are finally done. It's all over, and as I looked around, I realized that I don't have a group. There was no one set of people that I always hung out with. It kinda made me sad, but at the same time, it made me happy, because I knew that I was friends with people in every group. I still had so many friends. Sure, I may not have been the first person invited to every party, but I made my own, and I enjoyed myself.
I'll miss high school, but I'm definitely ready to move on to bigger and better things next year! Watch out BYU!

Warm Fuzzies!

So today I got basically the coolest compliment ever. I went in to see my teacher Mrs. Gardner, before I finished my senior project presentation. I was super stressed and I sort of had a mini breakdown in her office. Silly me. I was just upset because the people in my group didn't do much to help and yada yada so on and so forth. But she just took me by the shoulders and said, "You are amazing. You will take anything anyone gives you at anytime in your life and you will give it your all, and you'll make something of it. You will always work hard at everything life throws at you, and you'll come out on top. You are going to do amazing things with your life." At least that's the gist of it all. I felt so good, and at that moment, I decided that I would prove her right. And now that is my goal. To take whatever I am given and do my absolute best to make something amazing out of it.

Finally!

Hallelujah! I'm almost done with school. If I can get through this friday, I am home free. My senior boards are tomorrow and I have a bunch of stuff to do to get that ready to go! Oh my stress! But it will all work out.

It's been a while since I've posted so I'll just throw in a few updates:
-I've been invited to sing the National Anthem this June at the National HOSA competition in Texas. I just have to send an audition tape and hope I get picked. So watch for that!
-I'm also auditioning this summer to sing the anthem at a Jazz game this fall! I'll let everyone know when/if that happens!
-I'm leaving July 28 to go to Vegas to work for a week, then straight to California for 3 weeks for my job! So I'll be back August 24-ish, and I move in to my dorm August 27th! crazy eh?
-I have been offered a job at the pharmacy where I intern, so hopefully I'll be starting there in September!

Wow....it's been a busy couple of weeks! I got my housing all solidified for next year. I'll be living in Heritage Halls at BYU. I met two of my roommates, we have been emailing, and they are both awesome! I know we are going to have a blast next year! I'm super stoked! The girl that is in my room is named Kristen, and our personalities definitely mesh! Then there is Erin and Ari in the next room. I haven't met Ari yet, but I have talked to Erin and she is way awesome! I can't believe I'm finally moving out and up. :)

Also, my best friend Brandon is moving home!!! He was supposed to stay until September, but he is going to be home in June!! I'm so excited. I guess the way the company works is dishonest, and they aren't getting paid right, and his manager isn't that great of a person. He said he just hates the way he feels like he has to be dishonest to make a sale. So he quit. I'm sad that he is losing this opportunity, but I can't wait to see him again. I've missed him so much! When he is back, we are going to buy new floaties and tear up the lake this summer just like old times! Yay for Bum Beach.
That's all for now.
