Turn Around

Hallelujah! Everything is falling into place.
I applied for my short-term loan to delay my tuition payment and I applied for a contract release from my housing contract. Hopefully, they will let me out of my on-campus housing contract, and I'll be moving in with Claire and Aleisha, two of my best friends. I'm WAY excited!!
I kind of feel bad because I already know my fall roommate Kristen, and I feel like I'm kind of deserting her, but I just can't afford to live in my dorm. It's way too expensive for my baby-sized budget. The apartment I am moving to, is definitely smaller, but it's cheaper and I'm not required to have a BYU meal plan, which takes a huge chunk out of my pocket every month.
And........ I'm blogging on my brand-new Mac laptop!! My dad finally got it for me today! Hallelujah! :)
YAY I can't wait to live with Claire and Aleisha!!!! We are going to have a blast!..... and also never get anything done. :)
Tata for now!

Happy July 4!

Happy Fourth to all!!

I spent the night out in the street last night. Had a blast! And thank heavens, I managed to not open a messy can of worms! Congrats to me. :P
Then, today the most amazing thing happened to me!! My photographer who did my senior photos, Virginia, called me today asking me to sing a duet with a boy I know for a demo cd. I got super excited and said SURE! Then she threw in the little tidbit that she wants me to sing 6 other songs and do my own demo and get it out to some labels! HOLY COW! I can't even believe it right now. I'm in total shock. Hopefully all works out well!
So I'm recording next Sunday hopefully, and I'm not really sure how I'm going to be ready. I haven't even picked all my songs yet, but all I know is that this is happening for a reason, and i just need to take a leap of faith. I'm super excited but also kinda freaked out about how this is all going to work out. But wish me luck, and I'll definitely keep you updated!!

Another one!

I am on a roll! I love it.
BRANDON IS HOME!!!! I'm so happy. I saw him last night, and I just couldn't stop laughing. I'm just so glad to have him back. I've missed him like crazy. hahaha we totally ran into each others arms in the middle of Wal-Mart. :D We got some strange looks, but who cares? I was so happy to see him. Nothing could shake it! I can't wait to get back to hanging out all the time. Hopefully my job gets a tiny bit less hectic. :)

So I've made some fabulous friends since I've been here, and its so fun to compare our favorite things and find new favorite things! My friend kelly, introduced me to the soundtrack of the movie "Once" and I've fallen in love. You can check it out on her blog kelly-time.blogspot.com.
It's absolutely amazing and refreshing and beautiful! I love it. Lots and lots.

Also....So You Think You Can Dance is back on! It is probably my favorite show in the history of the earth. I absolutely can't get enough of it. I watch it religiously, but its getting harder now that I have no TV! I have to go home at least once a week to get my fix. My favorite dance this last week was a hip-hop dance by Katee and someone to the song "No Air" by Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown. It was a story of a girl and her boyfriend the night before he leaves for the war. It was so moving and amazing! Everyone should look it up. It's already on YouTube. That's how amazing it was.

Well, I have to work. More soon.

I love college. And friends. And boys. And life.
"Today is the greatest day in the history of the world" HAHAHA yay for my crazy job.

Summer!!

Hallelujah it is summertime!
Once again, it has been a ridiculously long time since I have posted anything. So much has happened lately!
I finally graduated from high school on Friday May 30, 2008. It was a blast! Then we had an all-night party at my school and had so much fun. We had food, laser tag, pictures, a hypnotist, games, guitar hero, basketball, karaoke, rockband, dance dance revolution, etc. etc. haha I won a pair of Fat Cats bowling passes in the drawing. lol
I also found a summer job down on BYU campus, and now I live there. I am a Conference Assistant. We help with all the summer conferences, mainly EFY, and we do random odd jobs. I really love it. I moved in 5 days after graduation, and have never looked back! I just fit in so well here, and I feel that it truly was the right move for me to make. I'm having a total blast. I live in the dorms and I have one roommate, but we live in a 6 person apartment, so we have lots of space. My roomie rocks! Her name is Claire, and we get along super well. She is hilarious, and I love to be around her. We have already had some great times, and I've only lived here 6 days. I went dancing on Friday night with another CA, Hilary, and I got to meet a bunch of people from my new ward.
I love living on my own. I can just do the most random things whenever I want, like go to Denny's at midnight because I'm hungry and I feel like it!
I'm also glad that I met my friends Steven and Ben. They are close to my own age, so it helps me feel more comfortable knowing that I'm not the only person who isn't a sophomore. Plus, we have become fabulous buddies and they always make me laugh. It's grand!
The only frustrating thing about my new job is that we have really really random schedules. That's why we are required to live on campus. Sometimes I have three shifts in one day! It's hard, but worth it, because the University is paying for my rent, and my food, and I make seven dollars an hour. It really is an amazing deal for a girl who just graduated high school and isn't even 18 yet! Thank heavens I found such an awesome opportunity!

Freedom!!

I did it! I graduated! It's done and official and I am full of happiness!
Graduation was amazing! I sang the National Anthem with a quartet and we rocked! :)
The speakers were amazing, and the choir sang "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing." It was amazing. I totally cried, cuz that's how I roll. I can't believe I'm actually done!!
